Where the hell do people get this idea that you "Won't be able to defend your districts without CP"
No people, you don't need CP to defend. CP is used to gain profit from your districts. That's it. So if you own more districts than you can generate CP, those extra districts will be as useful as they are now, showing off your epeen.

Another thing to note DK (district credits) are genearted when clones are sold and distributed to all active players who contributed CP to the corp, be it through a PC or daily corp missions. So even those not participating in a PC battle will STILL GET DK WHEN CLONES ARE SOLD.
